The Cherry Blossom Festival Southern CA and Hollywood Paws are holding its 2nd Annual Cherry Blossom “BEST IN FESTIVAL Most Photogenic Dog Contest”. The “Best in Festival” MASCOT hails from Pasadena, CA and is a rescue mixed Tibetan Terrier named Kori.
Nominate a dog by submitting a Nomination Form and ONE Photo only to the Cherry Blossom Festival by March 24th. Nomination forms can be obtained from the website. A committee will select the Top Finalists who will be notified by March 29th. Attendees of the Festival on April 10th and11th can cast their ballots for Most Photogenic at the Hollywood Paws Booth. All finalists should be able to attend the Festival on Sun. April 11th at 3:15 pm where the Top 5 Vote Winners will be announced on the Main Stage along with a Dog Demonstration from Hollywood Paws Trainers.
ALL FINALISTS receive a Certificate of Congratulations and a gift from Hollywood Paws.
PRIZES FOR THE TOP 5 VOTE WINNING DOGS will receive Hollywood Paws Scholarships.
1st Prize - $1,000 Scholarship; 2nd Prize - $800 Scholarship; 3rd-5th Prize - $500 Scholarship.
Hollywood Paws is an exclusive training facility and the very first of its kind. They provide the average pet owner the opportunity to train and prepare their family pet for work in film, television, commercials and print. Their programs afford students opportunities to learn not only training techniques of the entertainment industry, but to be educated in other areas of working with animals, from grooming to doggie daycare and everything in between. They are located on a 20-acre campus at the Los Angeles Center Studios, the largest premier independent studio located in downtown Los Angeles. With well over 200 major production credits, Hollywood Paws is part of a dynamic, collaborative, creative community. A dog friendly campus, Los Angeles Center Studios is the only studio with its own dog park.
